Truie (Sow)

The Truie table contains sow identification information. It is the basic table linking various other data to a sow.

Gestal is a feeding system, not a herd management software.
JYGA prioritizes simplicity of use and focuses on precision sow feeding while requiring as few interactions as possible from the user.
For example, if an inexisting sow ID is entered into a feeder unit, the sow will still be fed and intakes recorded. It is up to the user to correct his mistake, which is in fact optional from a feeding-first point of view.

This can lead to inconsistent data

Gestal does not force its users to keep a consistent sow inventory. This can lead to incorrect data left behind by the user, sleeping in the database.
Always keep this in mind when matching Gestal data with other herd management softwares, and always do proper validation on your side.
